cat mother can be found on you tube. jay unger was on violin. he later played with david bromberg. they all lived together in a good old 60′s style hippie comune

Bless you, so he did, but that one really DID sink without trace.

I’ve been chasing the other three Cat Mother albums on CD. I’ve found a couple of mentions by guys on blogs claiming to have bought these, but when other bloggers have asked where from, there’s been no reply. If anyone out there knows where I can get any of those albums on CD, please mail me at lenliechti@hotmail.com !

Hey, I just got Albion Do-Wah at the street fair last weekend…

“Track in A” was apparently an early discotheque favorite… it’s mentioned in a book called “Turn the Beat Around” (a history of disco)

quibble: didn’t Jimi Hendrix also produce an Eire Apparent album??

Better yet are the three subsequent albums under the name Cat Mother: “Albion Do-Wah,” “Cat Mother, and “Last Chance To Dance.” “Strike a Match and Light Another” (on “Albion”) is my all-time favorite let’s-get-stoned song. I don’t believe any of these albums have ever been available on CD.
