Incredibly, I never recognised Brian Jones theremin contribution on "Please Go Home" until you highlighted it here - it seems so obvious, yet it flew in under the radar... Theremin definitely had an interesting life. Brian Wilson had some rough moments in that film, as I recall. It's been 15 years since I've seen it.
