Frasse, AFAIK the album was first issued by Deram SDL-R 11 in 1972 in the UK, and issued at the same time under license by Pink Elephant records in the Netherlands and Brain records in Europe. Whether it was released in the states or not is a good question, and one I'll look into. But I suspect the first US release of the LP wasn't until the PVC reissue in 1978. I own a copy of that one, and it's a real tasty slab of licorice pizza.

Hey Gene,

Good first album choice, I like this record alot and have always been a big Steve Hillage fan. I have a few of his early solo discs that are pretty cool - Fish Rising and L. One of the truly amazing rock guitarists - ever. Good first showing!

I thought the original pressings were by Deram. Of course, probably by someone else in the states, if it was released there back in '72.

Thanks for recommending this one. Sounds like a total classic. I'm slightly out of touch with my prog/canterbury so it'll be great to hear more from ya Gene (aka Matching Mole)!
