Working backwards from the Byrd’s Sweetheart Of The Rodeo and Uncle Tupelo’s March 16-20, 1992, I finally discovered the Louvin Brothers- it truly was one of those “where have they been all my life?!?” moments. Their Delmore Brothers tribute album is one record I couldn’t live without. RIP Charlie.
Immediately upon my digging into the “Alt-Country” past, Charlies name was always coming up! I love his music and who he was as a person. His influences reach far and wide. RIP Charlie – Love Ya
